From the very best producer of the Teroldego grape in Italy comes this outstanding wine
Elisabetta Foradori's reserve bottling of Teroldego, one of Italy's forgotten grapes. The color of black cherries, with excellent extraction. One of the finest set of aromatics you will have the pleasure of inhaling. Big black cherry, dark flowers, minerals, warm roasted herb and white truffles. So, so complex. The palate has a lovely blend of sweet cherry fruit, roasted herb and spices. Silky and smooth, but with firm tannins and a little dry oak. Perhaps the palate needs to catch up to the aroma, but an amazing wine nonetheless.
Tasting Notes
Gorgeous aromas of crushed fruit and fresh flowers. Turns to black licorice and berries. Full bodied with masses of fruit with fine tannins and a long juicy finish. A voluptuous wine that will age and will probably be best from 2008 onwards.
